…with brands, coaching and leadership. I identify as a woman of color, and I especially love working with founders and professionals who identify as women and/or people of color too. Why? I believe that the world isn’t designed for us - not yet anyway. And we need different tools, training, and frameworks to succeed as underdogs. I want to be obsessed…with you! Your growth, dreams, goals, obstacles. Let’s tackle them together.
I am motivated by good people doing good things. I love working with people who see the world differently, who can see a future that not everyone has caught up to yet, and who might need a little support along the way. My journey has been bumpy - lots of highs, lots of lows, and overall, a lot of different experiences that have shaped the way I approach solving problems and building businesses. The silver lining of it all? I can guide you through your bumps too.
Whether you’re looking for fresh eyes to grow your business or to level up your leadership skills, I’d love to work with you. My expertise is in guiding leaders to the next step of growth - whether that’s in business, leadership, or personal development.

My name is Arshiya (pronounced “arsh-ee-yuh”) and I go by Arshi (“arsh-ee”) for short. “arsh” is an arabic word that means “of the sky” or “heavenly throne.” My parents are from India, and I was born and raised just outside of Cleveland, Ohio. I moved to New York City when I was 17 to attend New York University, where I completed my BA in Economics and then my MPA in Public Policy & Finance. I was a proud New Yorker and lover of Joe’s Pizza for 12 years before moving cross-country, where I’m still warming up to the 72 and sunny lifestyle in Southern California.
I have 12 years of experience across finance, startups, and coaching. I spent 6-ish years working in real estate finance/affordable housing. I then started my own direct-to-consumer brand called Sukoon Active. I was a 26-year-old founder who taught myself how to become a CEO, an operator, a supply chain expert, a marketer, and a storyteller. My brand was featured in Forbes, ABC News, Al-Jazeera, and The Huffington Post - among others - multiple times for our innovative and inclusive product line.
During the pandemic, my brand’s journey came to an end, but I had the privilege of joining a premium DTC marketing agency called Common Thread Collective, where I worked across paid media, customer success, and strategy for clients from $100,000 to $50 million in revenue. Most recently, I was the Head of Marketing, Brand & Community at a VC-backed fin-tech startup.
What I realized there was…I’m obsessed with DTC brands! I missed it, so here I am. I believe brands can change the way people live, interact with themselves and the world, and can offer validation to the human experience. They are also FUN! Building a brand offers a chance to be playful, creative, strategic, and to change people’s lives.
Outside of my formal “jobs” - I have been a keynote speaker, guest professor, writer, facilitator, and featured guest at several institutions and media outlets including NYU Wagner, The New School, and The Sullivan Foundation. I currently facilitate an in-person storytelling series every month in Southern California called The Potluck Presents, in which I design a workshop and storytelling hour for underrepresented voices.
